Serving Plano, Dallas and the surrounding suburbs, the Plano Photography Club was established in 1984 for anyone interested in photography. In 1990 the club was incorporated as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. PDF copies of the Club’s By-Laws and Constitution are available. Adults across all skill levels, from beginner to professional, are welcome to join and participate in club meetings and activities.

Membership Benefits

• Monthly meetings: Meet and share information with other photographers.
• Photography competition: Each month your images are critiqued by an impartial outside judge.
• Programs: Each month a guest Speaker gives a photography-related presentation.
• Activities: Field Trips, Photoshop Seminars, Model Shoots, or Tabletop Photography Workshops.
• Social events: End-of-Year Awards party and Christmas party. 
• Studio lights: A complete lighting equipment set is available for members to rent. The availability of the lighting equipment set can be viewed directly on a Google calendar ("busy" is used to indicate the lighting equipment set has been rented or reserved).

Guests are Welcome

There is no need to notify the club in advance if you wish to attend a meeting to see what we are all about. Just show up!

Meetings

Monthly club meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month (except December when no meeting is held).  Club meetings begin promptly at 7:00pm. Meetings are held in the Fellowship Hall classroom of Grace Presbyterian Church located at 4300 W. Park Blvd., Plano TX 75093-3710.  The church is located between Coit Road and Preston Road on Park Blvd. Click here to see a map.

Monthly board meetings are held at 7:00 pm on the second Monday of each month (except December when no meeting is held). Board meetings are open to all members. Meetings are held at various locations, often a board member’s house. If you wish to attend a board meeting, please contact a board member a few days before the meeting to get the location.

Membership Dues

Membership Dues (for both Individual or Couple memberships) are $24 for the April through May club calendar year ($12 if you join after November 1).
