Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden

	Club members visited the Dallas Arboretum where more than 400,000 bulbs, including Tulips, Daffodils, Dutch Irises and Hyacinths. are on display.
The Arboretum is ablaze with more than 400,000 spring-blooming bulbs, over 3,000 azaleas and thousands of other annuals and perennials spread throughout the park
	The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is a 66 acre park which is rich with blooming flowers and offers limitless photographic opportunities.

Tabletop Workshop

The table top workshop, one of our most popular activities, was a big success again this year. The fourteen tabletop stations gave members ideas of how they could set up a tabletop studio right in their own home for very little or no money. They learned how to create simple lighting setups that produce striking images and they had a lot of fun doing it.

If you love photography and would like learn to be a better photographer then you will want to take part in our many contests, activities and workshops.  To be a part of our next workshop join the club now.

Texas Woman's University Dancers Photo Shoot

This month members of the Plano Photography Club traveled to Denton, Texas to photograph the Texas Woman's University Dancers. We found the dancers to be beautiful, graceful, poised, photogenic, and a lot of fun to photograph. Some of the comments that I heard from members of the club about this shoot were: Wow! This is great!.This is so much fun. and This is even better than the model shoot!
	You will want to be with us when we return to the Texas Woman's University to once again photograph these beautiful young dancers.

Scavenger Hunt

The scavenger hunt this year took place under a clear blue Texas sky at the Plano Balloon Fest . The subjects to find and photograph at the scavenger hunt were: A Balloon, Colorful, Lines, Depth, A Face, Shoot from the Hip, Low Angle and A Vendor. It was all great fun and you will want to attend our next scavenger hunt.

Fall Outdoor Model Shoot

	The fall model shoot gave photographers a chance to learn to overcome the challenges of shooting out of doors in natural light.
Photographers learned elements of posing, metering and lighting in an outdoor setting.
	Our model shoots are one of the most anticipated and attended events. You must be a member of the club to participate in the model shoot. Essential Photoshop Editing for Beginner and Novice Photoshop Users

	Photoshop workshop attendees enjoy two hours of step-by-step instruction on using photoshop and elements to enhance their images for entry into club photo contests.
After the two hour group session the Photoshop workshop attendees had an unprecedented two hours of one-on-on instruction provided by some of the club's most accomplished Photoshop gurus providing personal instruction and helping attendees enhance their own individual images.
	If you love photography and want to improve your photographic skills come join the Plano Photography Club's many workshops, model shoots, field trips and contests.
